Yes, Kim’s wedding was ill-fated. She, however, still continues to profit from it. We all recall our reality star and businesswoman came up with a fragrance called “Love” earlier this year to symbolize her marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries. The initial intention was that “Love” would be just a limited edition scent to add to her other two fragrances released this same year.
Kim wrote on her blog, “I’m thrilled to reveal my limited edition wedding fragrance, ‘LOVE! I thought it would be fun to create a special fragrance that represents this special time in my life! We’ve only produced 1000 bottles… one for me to wear on my wedding day, 200 for my bridal shower and 799 for you guys!” these were Kim’s own words concerning the limited edition fragrance.
However, HollywoodLife.com reports that the so called limited edition fragrance is now part of a Macy’s holiday gift set despite the fact that Kim has filed for a divorce, with Kris subsequently counter-filing for an annulment. The couple was married for just 72 days before announcement came that the union was over.
Interestingly, Kim gushed back in august to reveal that the scent meant so much to her. According to her, it stood for “the enduring beauty of building a life with your other half and watching your love grow, each and every day”. The gift set has been named the Kim Kardashian Love Collection, and can be purchased from the Department Store. Kim received a huge backlash from fans, owing to the fact that the so called limited fragrance continues to be on sale. They felt duped and claimed that the whole multi-million dollar wedding extravaganza was just for profit and ratings for her reality shows.
